We truly gave it our best shot. Been in business for 58 years and never got into a situation that we didn’t think we could conquer but on the racetrack promoter business we’re having to throw in the towel. Can’t thank Ricky enough for daily working on the track in some form and yet holding down a weekly job. Would also like to thank Kyle for working at the racetrack while also working a regular job at Griffith Truck. Neither of these two men were paid for all the hours they put into this track. Would also like to thank Glen Johnson with Golden Triangle for the thousand phone calls he answered night and day. also need to thank Curry construction for all the material and equipment when we needed it, Right Way Sand for the motor grader and big tractor when we needed it. Richard and Brandi for keeping the electric going. Also thanking The A main Cafe for a concession stand with food people actually got to enjoy. You know....Its hard to have to let go of something we’ve thoroughly love doing but when the $ loss is far greater than the return that’s when you just have to let go.
