They raced at Charlotte 2 times in a ROW. Nascar lead the way for live sporting events to be held. Even though there are no fans, they are showing the world it can be done with much success, even without fans. Fans will complain regardless. I could care less if they race 7 days in a ROW at one track, we are blessed to be able to watch live events again. God bless NASCAR. It has just been amazing to see these guys go out there are put on a show without a lap of practice. It shows that they are real pros

  14. ISO: Driver Cooling system

I have the cooler with the pump all you need is the lines from the cooler to the shirt and a shirt 30 bucks
  15. Hey Racers, So after practice at HMP this past weekend I realized I need to do something about driver cooling. Usually I'd be fine with just sweating it out as the car will get some circulation, however with these newer bodies that isn't the case anymore. I'm simply not dealing with it as we have quite a few races during the summer this year. If you have a used kit with everything, I'd be interested with the exception of someones old cool shirt. I also need the ducts as well Let me know Corey

  17. From Roper Racing: Cory Roper and the No. 04 CarQuest Auto Parts Ford F-150 team came to Charlotte Motor Speedway not knowing what to expect due to no practice or qualifying. This was Roper’s 19th start with the NASCAR truck series Roper started 23rd and was getting his feel for the track since this was only his second time to race at Charlotte Roper found the speed and ran as high as 15th in stage 1 and 11th in stage 3. With 26 laps remaining, Roper radioed in that he lost power and the truck was showing no fuel pressure. This caused Roper to fall to the back of the pack with a 32nd place finish. Next race for the #04 Roper Racing Team will be in Atlanta Motor Speedway, June 6th.

  22. Irresponsible Race Tracks?

So...I’ve been waiting about 2.5 weeks since TX tracks started racing with fans in the stands to see what came of it. I haven’t heard of a single person getting sick from being in the pits or the stands? Has anyone else heard anything? In most of the country tracks still can’t have fans and may not be able to for months; surely with that kind of restriction in other places many-many people must be getting sick here from going to the track?
