Guest bigfat Posted November 8, 2005 Report Share Posted November 8, 2005 Why didn't the 2 pit late in the race?? He dropped 18 spots. Why did the 12 pit earlier than the rest of the field?? Going thru tires faster trying to make up 42 spots??? When the caution came out 4 or 5 laps later he got screwed. Did he spin intentionally???? 0 answers. Some took the chance, a few stayed out, probably cost Martin the race unless he could have gotten tires and beat Edwards out. Newman HAD to pit he was off sequence after he stayed out that one time. It was pit or run out of fuel would be my guess. Bad timing! Did he spin on his own? If he was hoping to get the lucky dog pass, the rules will not allow the person causing the caution to be the lucky dog. But what do I know I was just a spectator all weekend!
