Im in no way a press release specialist like Bobby Chaffee was but I have some exciting news for kiddo's that attend the next three USRA races at San Antonio, Thunder Hill, and Houston. Rusty Mirth, driver of the 07 USRA ARTS truck has decided to let the kids come up with the paint scheme for next season in a coloring contest. Materials to create the new paint scheme will be provided at each track so that the kiddos can create Rustys paint scheme for next year. After all of the entries are taken at the 3 tracks Rusty and his team will decide which one they will use for next year. Since I have never undertaken such a good cause I might need some help to distribute the blank truck sheets at each track. Also I might need some volunteers collect entries so that I can gather them after the end of each night... Thanks to all and good luck and lets see some lucky fans Paint the Truck...

i thought about doing something similar a while back for the car, the way i thought was to have the kids drop the pictures off at the racecar after the races or the following weekend if they wanted, and when they dropped off the pictures give them a little toy or something like that............that was the plan but other things came up and we never acted on it...........it would be a great way to get the kids involved and also might bring them back at least one other weekend to turn in their picture..........good luck with it man
