ChuckLicata
Just got back from the ROMCO garage... There's 35 listed entries for ROMCO right now, they're expecting to get a 36th by later this afternoon...Russ Martin told me they'll start 37 if they get that many...The track is completely dry, the rain has moved out (yay!)... Most of the ROMCO CREW MEMBERS I talked to said their DRIVERS enjoyed thier laps on the track..one said, "To win at this track, it's not about who's driving but what's under the hood.." I was told the ROMCO cars were running times of high-36s to 38s..Don't take that as gospel, I hadn't had time to talk with any of the ROMCO drivers themselves..When I talk to them, I'll get speeds and post them.. Weather forecast is that the rain has moved out, and it should be dry til after the IRL race on Saturday night (Note to Debwill: I left your tickets with Larry ) Events will run as scheduled today on texasmotorspeedway.com. More later...
champ1796
If its all motor and no driver, who has the advantage? Would that be Aramendia? I would have to think that the driver would be a factor since most road courses depend on you hitting your marks on a consistent basis. ChuckLicata
Not to "pump the show" or anything..LOL But I'll pose that question to Brandon and Larry Bendele on the show tomorrow.. I'll try and get you an answer tonight sometime, too, as we'll be here for the truck race tonight at 8 p.m.
