rebelracewriter
White Doubles Again at HOT  ELM MOTT—Keith White from Academy won both the I.M.C.A. modified and I.M.C.A. SportMod features for the second week in a row Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway. In the modified feature, White passed the leader of 19 laps, Russ Reed from Waco, with two laps to go. Michael Thompson from Waco finished third. White finished ahead of Robinson brothers, Kevin and T.J. Green, in the SportMod feature race.  Benji Kirkpatrick stayed on a winning roll in the I-stock feature beating out B.J. Dulock from Robinson and Steve Spoonts from Belton.  Jerry West drove down from Fort Worth to win the I.M.C.A. hobby stock feature. Nathan Sodek from Temple and Charles Cosper from Belton trailed West across the finish line.  Paul Bolfing reached the checkered flag in the competitive street stock feature ahead of fellow Wacoan Doug Andrews and Jason Gauntt from Elm Mott.  Timmy Kemp from Bellmead took top honors in the pure stock feature followed by Michael Robertson from McGregor and Logan Saulters from Bellmead.  Michael Haisler from Elm Mott inherited the cruiser feature win after winner Gordon Coble was disqualified after a post race inspection. Russell Bullock from Waco moved to second and Steve Young from Robinson to third.  The junior mini stocks had a new winner in Victory Lane as Jay Symm from Lorena claimed the feature win over Chandler Simons from Robinson and new driver Dylan Smith from Riesel.  The Speedway will be back in action Sunday, May 29, as the Sprint Series of Texas highlights the race program. I.M.C.A. modifieds, I-stocks, and hobby stocks will be running along with cruisers and junior mini stocks. Gates will open at 6:00 P.M. and racing will begin at 8:00 P.M., weather permitting. Check our website at www.heartotexspeedway.com for more information.  Coming Events May 29 Sunday 8:00 P.M.
