Egbert from Copperas Cove made it eight in a row Friday night at the Heart O’ Texas Speedway with another win in the I. M. C.A. modified feature. Egbert has won four straight at HOT and Texas Thunder Speedway in Killeen. Michael Thompson from Waco and Keith Green from Robinson followed Egbert in a fast and furious race.  A.J. Dancer from Red Oak won the non-stop I.M.C.A. SportMod feature in his second start ever but failed a post race inspection.  Jeff Sexton from Ross moved up to first place with Sid Kiphen from Gatesville advancing to second and Ricky Heckel from China Spring jumping to third.  Benji Kirkpatrick from Elm Mott and B. J. Dulock from Robinson were tied in the I-stock point standings going into the feature until Kirkpatrick nosed out Dulock for the win. Steve Spoons from Belton finished third.  Jerry West from Fort Worth overtook Danny Kreder from Elm Mott to win the I.M.C.A. hobby stock feature. Matt Drottz from Fort Worth had to settle for third.  Whitney driver Mark Geurin claimed the top prize in the street stock main event. Jason Gauntt from Elm Mott and Doug Andrews from Waco were second and third.  Melvin Kemp Jr. from Riesel picked up the winner’s trophy in the pure stock feature. David Sawyer from Axtell took second and Logan Saulters from Bellmead was third.  Kenneth Dean from Elm Mott finished first in the cruiser feature trailed by Russell Bullock from Waco and Steve Young from Robinson.  Chandler Simons from Robinson continued his winning streak in the junior mini stock feature. Jay Symm from Lorena and Brandon Campos from Waco rounded out the top three.  Next Friday is another regular point night for all classes. A double header program is on tap for Memorial Day weekend featuring the visiting 305 sprint cars. Gates open at 6:00 P.M. and racing action begins at 8:00 P.M. Check our website at www.heartotexspeedway.com for more details.  Coming Events  May 20 Friday 8:00 P.M.
