Lot of racers and friends have said let me know if I can help and I'll be there! 1st Workday this Saturday 1-6-18. All day starting 9:00am. Here are Job Descriptions and needs for Saturday: ●Painting: Yellow steps on walkways of main grandstands. Yellow steps on walkways pit grandstands. Yellow on short metal railing in front of main grandstands. White on flag stand. (Paint supplied) ●Replace cedar pickets around track. Need screw guns. (Cedar pickets supplied) ●Pit office needs carpenters to repair roof: Bring ladder, skill saw, nail gun, felt knife (Shingles, plywood, felt, and nails supplied) ●Replace 5 boards on grandstands: Bring skill saw ½ wrench Screw gun (Boards supplied) ●Take down signs & save Bring drill gun 5/16 socket for screws ●Weed eating: Need 4 people for inside & outside wooden fence around track, front gate & pit gate. Need gas weed eaters Need gas blowers to cleanup after weed eating, to blow walkways and clean pit concrete. ●Front of Grandstands: Need shovel and hoe to clean up over growth Ant kill in front parking lot (Ant killer supplied) ●Electrician: Fix lights at concession. ●Need skid steers: Fixing side road & pits. ●Someone to Check speakers, scoring & check timing loop. ●Need someone to check all lights, track parking, signals, Make Notes. ●Welders: Discuss building victory lane frame. Scoreboard sign. Build gate. Build small frame in grandstands and the infield. Also need to know who is interested in being track welder. Wondering if there will be any additional volunteer workdays scheduled before the season starts.
