NickHolt
Mary Ann Naumann announced on RPM Radio Texas this evening (Thursday, Dec 14) that she and her husband, H. Naumann, will take over Cotton Bowl Speedway for the 2018 season and beyond. She indicated that they plan on a 17-race season in 2018 with the season opener featuring the World of Outlaws. Two 2-day events are also in the works - the Cotton Bowl Spectacular and the Cotton Bowl Octoberfast weekends. MAN Racing Promotions and the Naumanns have a long, productive stock car racing history including operating Thunderhill Raceway in Kyle, Texas, for several years and managing and promoting the Texas Super Racing Series for a number of seasons. Both Mary Ann and H are former racers and have more than enough experience to make the Cotton Bowl endeavor a rousing success. More information will be forthcoming from MAN Racing Promotion as plans develop. Nick Holt
