TARS
05-31-2017 Texas Asphalt Racing Series Press Release – Pro Sedans Part of race line up for the Liberty Bell 200 on July 8th, 2017. The Texas Asphalt Racing Series and Raymond Delahoussaye are proud to announce the addition of the Pro Sedans to the racing program for the Liberty Bell 200 race to be run at Houston Motorsports Park on July 8th, 2017. As soon as Lalo Leal, a Pro Sedan racer, heard that there would be races again at Houston Motorsports Park he quickly got in contact with Raymond Delahoussaye, the Director of the Texas Asphalt Racing Series, to find out how to get his class on the schedule. When he was informed he needed fifteen or more cars to race he got to work contacting those who used to race at Central Texas Speedway. The Pro Sedans was one of the larger classes of cars that raced at Central Texas Speedway. Even though they were once a large class it still wasn’t an easy feat to accomplish because many of the old Texas Pro Sedan racers have converted their cars over to dirt. However, Lalo prevailed and was able to get the cars together to pre-register before the June 8th pre-registration deadline. The Pro Sedans are a 4 cylinder racing series that is highly competitive and a fun series for the fans to watch. They will be a great addition to the Liberty Bell 200’s race line up. The Texas Asphalt Racing Series and Raymond Delahoussaye appreciate the support of all the Pro Sedan racers who pre-registered to get their class on the schedule. tps48
Great job Lalo, let's get a good turnout for HMP. Don't worry if your car is set up for HMP, it's very similar to CTS. Get off your butts, get your cars in this race. Let's face it...you might not get another chance if you miss this one.
