Ryan Stoy uses the DCRST broom at 1-37 Speedway

Recommended Posts

DCRST driver Ryan Stoy (20) felt the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat at the last event at South Texas Speedway. After an apparent win was taken away after a minor technical infraction the Hutto, TX driver made good sweeping the heat race and main event in the first DCRST race at I-37 Speedway in Pleasanton. The new speedway operation has garnered rave reviews from fans and competitors and a large crowd was on hand for the maiden voyage of “The Wild Side Tour”.

Stoy took the point from the drop of the green leading the field in the 20 lap main event. The action was behind the leader as drivers navigated on the dry and at times dusty surface. A late race caution with 2 laps to go bunched the pack and set the stage for a great finish. Stoy was able to hold off a hard charging James Fitzgerald (6), Dillon Spreen (15), Tyler Folkerts (42) and Drew Simental (37) to pick up the win.

Zac Zearfoss (53), Dillon Coyne (12), Gary Buchanan (99), Dylan Budnik (25), Brayden Becker (17) and Rodney Rodriguez (4) completed the top 10. Budnik notched the other heat race win.

DCRST s back on track Saturday June 3rd at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige. Point standings and series information available at www.ALINEDCRST.com
