On Saturday night, October 29, families can get all that and more as Wichita Speedway (formally Red River Speedway) in Wichita Falls, Texas presents the “Falls Town Showdown” high-lighted by a $2000 to win, $200 to start feature finale for the Racesaver 305-ci sprint cars. Also running will be the NOW 600 non-wing and restricted “A” class micros and factory stocks. While parents and dirt track enthusiasts will get their dirt track racing treat, a variety of events are planned for the kiddo’s throughout the evening to keep them occupied. Bounce houses, Halloween contests and candy call. For just $2, kids can jump all they want in several bounce houses that will be set-up on the grounds. Tricks and treats. There will be a Halloween-themed candy call at intermission as well as driver introductions consisting of all drivers in all divisions competing. How scary or creative can you be? A Halloween costume contest will be held for all ages with $100 going to the best costume for ages 18 and up; $50 to win for ages 13-17; $25 to win for ages 8-12; and a free bicycle for the cutest kids costume ages 0-7 years of age. Pit gates open at 4:00 PM; grandstand gates at 5:00 PM with race action slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Adult general admission is just $12; Seniors and Military $10; ages 6-12 $8 and kids five and under admitted into the grandstands for free. All pit passes for all ages will be $35.
