Park City, Kansas – October 3, 2016 - Looking to win six straight championships and seven overall, C.J. Johnson leads the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products sprint car division to the friendly confines of 81 Speedway in Park City this coming Saturday night in participation of the tracks annual “Fall Classic.” The series modified, crate late model and mod-lite divisions will also be in action. This event will be the next-to-last for the tour with their finale being slated at Salina Speedway in Salina, Kansas on Saturday night, October 22. Despite winless thus far this 2016, Johnson holds a slim 15-point lead over Lincoln, Nebraska Don Droud, Jr. former two-time tour champion Jeremy Campbell sits third, 140 points out of the lead. Jon Freeman, Ray Seeman, Jeff Stasa, J.D. Johnson, Wood, Jake Greider and rookie of the year contender Forrest Southerland all round out the top ten in the standings. Oklahoma drivers Danny Jennings, Michelle Decker and a host of other “Okies” are expected to make the trip north to take on the series regulars. Campbell won the most recent event held for the “winged warriors” back on September 3 for his first victory of the season where a strong field of twenty-five cars were pit side. Visiting victory lane this season include Wood (3), Droud (3), Derek Hagar (2), Campbell, John Carney II, Jack Dover and Tony Bruce, Jr. Gates open at 5:00 PM with racing slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Grandstand admission prices are $20 for adults; children 6-10 just $5 while kid ages five and under will be admitted free. All pit passes will be $30.81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th street in Park City.
