81 Speedway to Host All Four NCRA Divisions This Saturday Night!

Park City, Kansas – October 3, 2016 - For the final time in 2016, 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas will host the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products series and their sprint, modified, crate late model and mod-lite divisions this coming Saturday night as part of the tracks annual “Fall Classic.”

It will be the next to last event of the season for all four divisions as, for the first time in recent memory, the final point races will not be held at the speedway. This year the finale for all four will be held at Salina Speedway in Salina, Kansas on Saturday night, October 22 in an event promoted by Speedway’s Inc.

In the series sprint car division, Johnson, who has won five straight championships and six overall, will come into the night with a 15-point lead over Nebraska’s Don Droud, Jr. while former two-time tour champion Jeremy Campbell sits third, 140 points out of the lead. Jon Freeman, Ray Seeman, Jeff Stasa, J.D. Johnson, Wood, Jake Greider and rookie of the year contender Forrest Southerland all round out the top ten in the standings. Oklahoma drivers Danny Jennings, Michelle Decker and a host of other “Okies” are expected to make the trip north to take on the series regulars. Campbell won the most recent event held for the “winged warriors” back on September 3 for his first victory of the season.

The battle for the series modified championship is another close one as Scott Green holds a 45-point advantage over two-time and defending tour champion Dan Powers. Josh Lanterman, Tyler Davis and Brian Franz are the top five in points, followed by Jason McGehee, Ross Shipman, Ryan McAninch, Kyle Kemp and Johnny Whitmore.

After ending 2015 as a co-champion, crate late model driver Chris Kratzer holds a seemingly comfortable 145-point lead over veteran Delbert Smith while Dusty Leonard, Rob Day, Daniel Smith, Jimmy Segraves, Lyle Shepard, Ryan Gritt, Adam Popp and Robert Shepard round out the top ten.

Justin Kinderknecht, looking for a repeat championship, holds a 60-point advantage over Dustin Forsberg while Ryan Ayers, Brandon Gray and Trace Ayers are your top five in the standings.

Gates open at 5:00 PM with racing slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Grandstand admission prices are $20 for adults; children 6-10 just $5 while kid ages five and under will be admitted free. All pit passes will be $30.
