arob Posted June 1, 2016 Report Share Posted June 1, 2016 Thank you for a well put together and run Memorial Day Weekend.I thought Fan Appreciation Night went well although the BBQ ran out. But giving tokens to those who didn't get a plate was more than fair so thank you for that, Nice touch finding the veterans to give the command to start engines. The night was topped off by a great fireworks display. A SPECIAL THANKS to the people who got the track ready to race.Those of us who live down here know what 4 to 5 inches of rain does to STS imagine what 10" does. Even the spectator parking was in great shape. Thank you to Hughes Racing chassis and 89 Motorsports for building and maintaining safe race cars. That was a wild ride the 90 took. And thank you to ALL the racers.Good racing throughout, especially the Pure Stocks , from the best group of racers you can find anywhere.
