As of March 14, 2005 @ 2:45 p.m.... from both reliable sources from the land owner and from the track owner, neither has an agreement and/ or a signed contract with any interested in purchasing SAS or the land it sits on.

Now, with that said, I personally feel that there is some type of negotiation going on for land & SAS be discussed at this time.

BUT then again, who knows what is going to happen in this sport!

The rumor mill is working overtime on the "SAS sold" rumor. I must get 5 - 6 emails a day asking what I know about it. My answer is always the same - I'll believe it when either the seller or the buyer makes an announcement. And not until.

We hear rumors about tracks closing, being sold, being built, etc, all the time. Hearsay is fine, but unless you happen to be the track owner or the purchaser, we just don't have the facts.

The best thing to do is just wait and see what develops, if anything..
