Labor Day Weekend - Two days of racing

Recommended Posts

The roughness was not caused by anything the track had controll over. If the weather cooperates, I imagine the track will be normal.

Now, having said that, alot of cars lost driveshafts and broke other parts. I would advise all drivers to go over their cars with a fine tooth comb looking for broken parts and cracked welds. A track that rough can put major stress on the drivetrain and suspension and since we are nearing end of season, some cars are already worn out. Pay special attention to shocks and shock mounts, driveshaft U joints, transmission tail shafts and housing, and ball joints and tie rods.

Free advise. Take it for what it's worth.
