rebelracewriter Posted March 5, 2015 Report Share Posted March 5, 2015 Weekly Events at MIR to Include a Top-10 Challenge Wednesday, February 4, 2015 Weekly Events at MIR to Include a Top-10 Challenge Memphis International Raceway (MIR) announces the Top-10 Challenge in 2015. The new program will give racers a chance to see where they rank during weekly events this year. Racers that participate in Test N Tune, Midnight Madness and Street Warz can battle it out for a top spot, bragging rights and prizes. The Top-10 Challenge will consist of two qualifying sessions at each event and racers will be ranked fastest to slowest by their ET. Times will not be published on the top-10 list so participants must place "NT" on their windows. There is no additional fee to enter and it is for door cars only. The top-10 from Test N Tune, Midnight Madness and Street Warz will compete against each other in a final showdown on Friday, September 25 during Midnight Madness. Racers who compete in the challenge and rank in the top-10 will receive a one-time free entry in the R.T. Turbines DOT/Street class during the Summit Bracket Racing Series presented by COMP Cams. In addition, the top-three from Test N Tune, Midnight Madness and Street Warz will receive plaques and passes to the IHRA Summit Racing Equipment World Finals featuring the Nitro Jam Nationals. The overall winner of the MIR Top-10 Challenge will be named "King of the Track" and walk away with $500 in prize money; the remaining nine will receive $50 each. The Top-10 Challenge will kick-off during the following events: Test N Tune on Thursday, March 5, Midnight Madness on Friday, March 20 and Street Warz on Friday, April 3, and will continue all season log until the finals on September 25.
