(December 9, 2014) - Memphis International Raceway (MIR) has launched a Facebook page solely dedicated to the new state-of-the-art dirt track coming to the multi-use facility during the summer of 2015. The page will be used as a resource for our racers and fans, effective immediately, and can be located at The Dirt Track at Memphis International Raceway. The new page replaces the former Bring Back Memphis Motorsports Dirt Track Racing Facebook page and we would like to thank Valerie Isaacs for allowing MIR to build on the existing fan base. The newly launched page, will provide updates and will serve as an avenue for those who wish to share experiences and ideas with others, as well as stay connected to our events and initiatives. MIR will break ground on the 3/10-mile dirt track early next year with plans to open during the summer of 2015. The new facility will host weekly Friday night races as well as special events throughout the season. Bobby Sides was recently announced as the Director of Operations - Dirt Track and Road Course, effective January 2, 2015. Scheduling, classes, pricing, rules and other information will be announced in the coming months. Please click on The Dirt Track at Memphis International Raceway and "Like" us.
