TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY PROVES TO BE KEY STOP ON TRUCK CIRCUIT

FORT WORTH-DALLAS (May 12, 2003) -- It is at the NASCAR banquet each December

that Craftsman Truck Series drivers are honored for their excellence throughout

the season. A close look reveals Texas Motor Speedway plays a key role each

year in spring boarding those drivers to successful season. Every winner of the

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Texas has gone on to have an outstanding

season that particular year, including two who have gone on to win the series

championship and two who have claimed Rookie-of-the-Year honors.

"Our fans are always entertained with the best racing in the NASCAR Craftsman

Truck Series twice each year at Texas Motor Speedway," speedway general manager

Eddie Gossage said. "It is very interesting to see that drivers who have done

well here have gone on to great things that season."
