Daylight savings time ends the weekend prior to the Dickies 500. NBC coverage of the race will begin at 2 p.m. CST with green flag at approximately 2:20 p.m. CST. That will put the last part of the race under the lights at Texas. “It’s very unique and we love the idea,” said speedway president Eddie Gossage. “We’ve always said it would be great to have a night Cup race at Texas, but I never dreamed we’d have a race that was both day and night. I think it will be something fun for the fans.” Texas Motor Speedway Season Tickets are on sale now. Individual tickets for the Dickies 500 will go on sale May 6. # # #
