TPS - RACE BULLETIN #9 UPDATE - Final 2014 event - (changes underlined in BOLD)

NOTE: Hourly schedule was changed again on Thursday to match CTS's changes due to wet grounds and to inform TPS members

NOV 7 - Friday optional practice- 3:00pm - 10:00pm- $20 per person in pits. (Pit Pass Fri/Sat - $50) < same

NOVEMBER 8 - 10:30am - Pit Gate Opens (TPS cars must pit in assigned area, fire extinguisher required)
TPS participants must sign correct TPS sheet & wear correct wrist band at CTS(tell your family) < same

11:25am - TPS Practice times: 11:25-11:35am & 1:15-1:25pm (more changes may be announced on pit PA)

NO DEADLINE for (1) one gate bonus point - all who arrive will receive the bonus point

2:00pm - TPS Drivers Meeting ($80 one time roll over for 2015 dues, a $20 discount)
(non-attendance, no practice = rear race grid penalty)

4:00pm - TPS QUALIFYING TIME TRIALS - 2 Laps - Qual line inverted by receipt of new entries, then points

9:30pm (APPROX) - TPS FEATURE - 25 Laps - by fast 6 DRAW to invert grid, no Grid Limit, dnt's start rear by 2014 TPS Points then entry

NOTE: If time trials not held or completed, Feature grids heads-up by 2014 Points prior to this race date, then by new entry order

NO CHANGES ON ALL BELOW LISTED ITEMS:

AFTER FEATURE - Post Race TPS Inspection: weight, carb check, P&G.(CTS Trophy presented to TPS Feature Winner 2nd & 3rd also recognized) After last CTS Feature Race is completed, a CTS live music concert will entertain on stage. All TPS drivers, crews and fans are invited.

IF POSTPONED - Per 2014 TPS/CTS verbal agreement - TPS Rain Date for Race #9 is TBA or cancelled as determined by CTS. For weather information call TPS Race Director David Mackey cell 512/913-9364 (Please keep your cell phone on race day)

ENTRY FEE ------ $60 - per car if paid two weeks in advance by mail/check & completed entry form.
NOTE: Entry fee refunded (less $10) until car passes thru Pit Gate. Must sign TPS or Minors clipboard.
LATE ENTRY ---- $70 - per car if paid late at track in pits (late $10 deposited into TPS Treasury).
CTS PIT PASS -- $30 - (Fri & Sat - Driver - $50, Crew - $45) (Rain checks good on rain date. Under 18 needs parental release).
GRANDSTAND -- $15 - per person ($12 for Military, Police, Fire, Students (with ID) Children 12 & under & Parking Lot is FREE

TPS RULES - TPS 2014 Rules & Specifications (NOTE: Windshields and rear windows required or be issued a large and
increasing weight penalty). Note: Each driver must receive scanner on 154.570 MHz at all times whenever on track.

INVITED CARS - 4 Cylinder (only) CTS & CCS Mini Stocks accepted provided in compliance with their last year rules and weigh by TPS rules. Invited car upgrades OK: CTS & CCS may use: TPS 13” Hoosier Racing Tires or DOT tires, may use after-market suspension parts, lock drive wheels, may not have external nerf bars, must use rear view mirror(s).

TRANSPONDER - Must have an AMB Transponder operating at all times when on track, AMB Transponder is required to be timed & scored. (David Mackey has 2 transponders FOR RENT - $50. Reservation required. Call David at 512/913-9364).

MEMBERSHIP - All drivers are required to hold a valid 2014 TPS membership and must file Race #9 paid entry to drive on track. One race TPS memberships are available @ $25. Car number priority goes to TPS full season $75 members. (Note: $80 one time roll over for 2015 dues, a $20 discount).

PURSE - CTS will pay $75 for each TPS car which participates in at least one Feature Race lap for the entry to be paid in TPS purse. All sponosor and CTS money and most entry fees go into the TPS purse. TPS Officials are paid from appropriate entry fee deduction. Feature pay off next week by U.S. Mail. (NOTE: A minimum of one race lap is required for purse payment from CTS to TPS).

TROPHY - A Trophy for the TPS Feature Race Winner will be presented by CTS (TPS 2nd & 3rd place will also be recognized)

POINTS - Points awarded per TPS Rules - 3 points to fastest new record (16.374) - fastest non-record time wins 1 bonus point.

K&K INSURANCE - Insurance coverage limits: Liability - $1,000,000 (each occurrence), Medical Excess - none, Accidental Death & Dismemberment - $1,000,000 (Note: Injury must be reported on race night to the CTS Track Manager).

TPS TIRES - Hoosier F 60 8.0/23.0-13” tires will be sold and serviced at Central Texas Speedway by SS Motorsports at CTS. For more information call Jerry Spencer - 512/784-1192 at Central Texas Speedway, Kyle, TX.

RACE GAS - VP racing fuel (110 octane) sold by SS Motorsports at CTS. Price per gallon $9.00 (or bring your own race gas).
