UMP Modifieds set for Race of Champions at Plymouth Speedway

(Plymouth, IN) Its one of the biggest races at the Playground of Power in an exclusive October two-day show. The best of the best in the national UMP Modifieds division will race at Plymouth Speedway on Oct.10 and Oct. 11. The Dickies Restaurant 600 Sprints will also be part of the show.

The gates will open at 3 p.m., hot laps will begin at 6 p.m. and racing begins at 7 p.m. ET both days.

The 50-lap Race of Champions is proudly sponsored by Lane Automotive, presented by Allstar Performance.

"We will be offering $5,000 to win in the Race of Champions, which played off our companys 50th Anniversary," stated John Berglund, Advertising/Race Track Programs Manager of the Watervliet, Michigan facility. "Our company has been involved with Plymouth Speedway for many years on both asphalt and dirt surfaces. The entire group at Plymouth, including owner Ed Kennedy, do a fantastic job of marketing their facility. I am confident that this race will become an annual event."

Plymouth Speedway features a three-eighths (0.375) mile banked dirt oval owned by Ed Kennedy. Four different classes of racing are featured: UMP Modifieds, 600 Open Sprints, Thunder Stocks, and Super Streets.
