Running with the memory of is Mom Momma Balzer on his mind Mike Balzer led a fight and crash fest to win possible the most important race of his racing carreer. After leading a majority of the laps Mike in the Winners Circle provided me with one of the most powerful moments of my life, breaking down in tears and clutching and hugging his crew, father-in-law, and wife. It was truly a powerful moment and I know Mrs. Balzer would have been proud. In Mike's brothers words ' He won one for Mary' cheering on his son in law after the checkers fell. I personally want to congratulate Mike and his crew for working through an adversity that was harder than any problem a wrentch could fix. Mary would be very proud....
