NickHolt
With the expected increase in car count for the Lone Star Legacy event at CTS on May 31, we will be checking to make sure everyone is able to hear and understand radio directions from race control. I know scanners/raceceivers and similar one-way radio devices are an expense, but with the increasing car count it becomes very important that everyone driving a Lone Star Legacy in the pits or on the track be able to hear the race director. Series director James Huff, series registrar Janette Huff and I will be checking to make sure everyone is in compliance on the 31st. Thanks for everyone's cooperation as we continue to grow the series. Nick

NickHolt
Increase in car count...that sounds good. Hope it goes way up. Slow but sure. We're taking our time and making sure folks who want to joins us understand that we're not a crash/bang series any longer. We're all about sharing setup information, helping folks with the learning curve and encouraging "on the trailer in one piece" driving. We also doing our best to make the playing field as level as possible. We know from past experience that there are Legacys out there on jack stands that may have been "upgraded" a bit beyond the original rules package for the Legacys. We want those guys and gals back on the track and will work with them to get their car back to "spec." We've had awesome cooperation from all concerned and are very grateful to Bob Riley who has been our "go to guy" when it comes to getting solid information about parts. Right now we're looking for the best way to get everyone on the same cam. Evidently there are at least two or three cams that were considered legal at one time or another. We're working on it. NickHolt
If anyone needs information about where to obtain a scanner or raceceiver, please contact James Huff. We have to make sure everyone is able to hear Race Control this weekend and we will be checking to make sure everyone can. Nick
