Double D racing
I think the 42 (bat mobile) was Gary Green ? or his brother Perry ?
Alloutpc17
I think the 42 (bat mobile) was Gary Green ? or his brother Perry ? Correct. That car was built by randy cox. The two cars ahead of #64 would be greg rohmer, doug forrest, and kevin bendele?

TexasAggie13
He was one of the good guys. He worked for my dad a little bit in the late 80s (before I was born) but I remember watching him at SAS every chance I got when I was younger. He was undoubtedly my inspiration to start racing. He took me for a ride around SAS in his late model one night after he won the feature. I was 5-6 years old, I was HOOKED! Godspeed, Donny.
arob
Seeing these pics make me sad. What a great track SAS was. Fast track that had a lot of passing and side by side.Wish we had an asphalt track like that now.
rocketdog15
Depending on the year, the 64 was either Steve Varnes or his dad Mickey Varnes. At some point around that time Steve moved up to street stock, and his dad took over the driving duties on the Nova.
