(April 12, 2013) – The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Nitro Jam series returns to Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida April 19-20 for the Bradenton Nitro Jam presented by CarSafe, Metro PCS and Southern Ford Dealers. The April 19-20 event will mark IHRA’s first national event at the track since the 1998 and 1999 seasons. The 2013 Bradenton Nitro Jam features multiple professional and sportsman classes spread over the two-day event. The Bradenton Nitro Jam will feature professional competition in Top Fuel Dragster, AMSOIL Prostalgia™ Nitro Funny Car, Fuel Altered, Nitro Harley and multiple sportsman class competing on the Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL. The event will also feature multiple exhibitions including the Battle of the Big Trucks between the world famous Grave Digger monster truck and the 30,000 horsepower Super Shockwave jet truck, pyrotechnics and fireworks and much more. This is the third race of the 2013 IHRA Nitro Jam season with championship points on the line in all classes. Adult tickets are only $25 if purchased in advance and $30 at the gate. Children tickets are $10. Nitro Jam professional racing will take place at 7:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday. Sportsman racing will be contested throughout the day.
