Also, I heard, after the driver was out of the car, a CBS worker ask the crew chief how he wanted to handle turning over the car. I thought it was a good idea that they asked before proceeding. Josh42 Posted March 18, 2013 Report Share Posted March 18, 2013 Yes with the sprint cars that is nice if they ask, cause sometimes you do more damage turning it back over than what happened in the wreck. Last year when we destroyed one of cars in the heat race at CBS the wrecker driver asked where he should pick up the car before just doing it. One thing I would suggest is getting a sling to go onto the wrecker that can wrap around the roll cage in the event a car is really tore up and cant roll, cause 75% if the time when a sprint car flips it isnt going to roll real easy afterwards.
