Truck99
How much does it cost to rebuild a 602 crate motor? On average, and who to go to. It all depends on how much you want or need to have done. Some builders like to replace the pistons on a rebuild. Not a bad idea since they are hypers, but the slugs in the new version 602 are very expensive and a little hard to come by. If you don't replace the pistons, the going rate for a rebuild seems to be about 2500. Westside seems to be the place to use in your area. Down here, Spreen and Mission are common rebuilders with good results.
CC57
My "freshen" up at the end of 2011 was $2,200. Bearings, rings, valve springs, etc. Your price may vary
