I worked on 5b some more yesterday firewall is coming together, putting aluminum around roll cage drivers compartment,took out fuel tank replacing with 15 gallon fuel cell,went to Giddings swap meet last month and found a good set of T-bucket headers found a blow proff bell housing here in the classifieds. Got a cheater button for crank and trans hook up. Got a 3 speed trans rebuilt. Thanks to Jimmy Griswold I have a 500 cfm 2barrel carb an aluminum intake came my way from a nuther friend. Bought 15 gold 1.5 roller rockers need one more they were cheap. Sounds like a laundry list but still need stuff If any boby has any 8 lug x7' or 6' or 8' x15 or 14 I am desperatly in need I have some old Atlas bucrons I want to mount up and use on the front. steering gear is Crosley rear end after 30 plus years of total neglect I pulled it out and having new bearings put in it . Don't know what grease turns into after 30 plkus years but yuk!! smells bad and does not protect metal at all. Well he did not like my results I did my best I feel good Going in hospital Tuesday morn 6am to find out why front part not working .
