rebelracewriter
Tim Schmidt took the lead at the start of the 14 car IMCA Hobby Stock main, with two-three wide racing in the pack. Bob Neill ducked low on Schmidt to grab the lead on lap 2. In the meanwhile BJ Dauer was charging through the field. Dauer got by Neill on lap 3 and quickly began to run away and hide. At halfway it was Dauer, Neill, Jason Nulf, Mark Normadin and Schmidt in the top five. Dauer continued to put it on the field building nearly a full straightaway lead in the final laps. As the checkers waved it was Dauer taking the victory and track championship. Aaron King moved into the lead on lap 3 going low to get by Crabtree. Scott Miller then snagged second, with he and King pulling away. On lap 10 King and Miller were still nose to tail for the lead, while Adam Schrag and points leader, David Young battled for third. The lead duo was forced to split a lap car high/low. Miller crossed over and dove inside King. The two swapped a little paint as they raced to the line, with Miller taking the win by less than a car length.
