CarSafe ADRL Dragpalooza VIII this Friday and Saturday

The American Drag Racing League (ADRL), home of the world's fastest doorslammers, returns to Royal Purple Raceway this Friday and Saturday, March 30-31, for CarSafe ADRL Dragpalooza VIII.

Racing for the eighth time at Royal Purple Raceway, the ADRL is back and better than ever before as its 2012 season gets underway in extreme fashion.

Be part of the unbelievable 200-mph side-by-side racing, the incredible jet cars and the revolutionary new SuperCar Showdown. It's also your chance to be a part of history, as the SuperCar Showdown, pitting the biggest and baddest muscle cars against each other, races for the first time anywhere in the world. This amazing new class will match Camaros vs. Mustangs, Challengers vs. Corvettes and much, much more in never seen before no-holds barred action.

At just $15 a day or only $25 for the entire weekend, it's the best deal in drag racing, too! All children 12-under are admitted free, and with an expanded family fun midway, it's also the perfect family weekend destination.

Get your tickets today by going to www.RoyalPurpleRaceway.com or by calling the Royal Purple Raceway at (281) 383-7223.

Traveling to Royal Purple Raceway this weekend

Did you know that State Highway 99 in Chambers County is now an all electronic toll road? State Highway 99 borders Royal Purple Raceway and has been the preferred travel route to the racetrack for the last two years as a non-tolled road. We recommend our race fans use State Highway 146 (Exit 797) off of Interstate 10 and travel

South to FM 1405 which is the first stop light. From there take a left and proceed one half mile to FM 565. At the stop sign take another left and Royal Purple Raceway will be approximately 2 miles down on your left.

Race fans may still travel on SH 99 but must use a TxTag, EZ TAG, or TollTag to pay tolls. If you don’t have one of these you can visit www.TxTag.org or call 1-888-468-9824.
