Just wanted to throw a cent or two in the pot about those 2 sport compact cars out there. That looked like a crap load of fun even with just two cars. That was a dam good race also.. Those guys were wide open while making sure nothing went wrong to get that going. Think we all need to get one of those cars. Think a girl may have been the driver of the pinked car who beat that awesome lifelong racer in the new thunper. Either way lets get that class going..

It was a lot of fun and more cars are comming. The funny thing is back in 2000 the minnies were dropped in the middle of the year at CC Speedway and the Texas Thunder class was born.We started with 4 cars, the funny part was 3 of the 4 people were at STS Sat.Bob Foster,Josh and I the only one missing was little Tommy. This class grew to over 20 cars weekly under the direction of Owen. Now we have a willilg track again PLUS the director who knows how to promote our class.Great things to come.

I talked to the people with that fast #4 frontrunner and that car is comming too.

That was some excellent racing out of my newest project the Sport Compacts, I really think this is a great class and will build to be a huge show before long. Simple to build and fun to race, these are race cars for any age or experience level. If you have a 4 cylinder car bring it out lets have some fun.

Just as a reminder,STS is inviting the stock engined ecomy class cars to race with the sport compacts.Opening nite is March 24 in Corpus Christi. With the success of this same kind of race at the Shootout it makes sence to continue.

This includes but not limited to front runners, eco stocks,jr minnies, mini stocks, twisters, hornets, thunders and sport compacts with 4 or 6 cyls, std or auto trans. As long as the car is legal in an established class it will be legal here. There will be no maximum age restrictions if your track has one.A legal sport compact might have a slight advantage due to some adjustments allowed but must adhear to all other SC rules.Experienced drivers welcome.

Bring your car or borrow one and see if you can drive. This track is fast and wide enough for 3 wide racing.Plus it has an airconditioned bar for spectators and after the race racers with live bands. The music alone is enough to show up.Large audience to build your fan base.Friendly staff.Great safty workers.

BTW other classes also will race too.

I believe this invitation is good all year if I understood it correctly so even the 6 cll cars that are legal frontrunners or eco-stocks are eligabile also.Only the Sport Compacts are limited to 4 cyls to be able to use the small improvements allowed like full cages with front and ear loops and removing un needed equipment.Every car needs to fit some tracks class.Ultimately the SC cars will be the car of choice with dual cams,multivalves,V-Tecs,and whatever the factory provides as power.

Right now we are pioneering this new deal for modern cars so all current cars can run too,Owen says the more the merrier.I agree but am still searching for an Altima. Can Thumper talk Japaneese?
