Geurin Grabs HOT Win

 

ELM MOTT--Mark Geurin from Whitney started driving an I-stock two weeks ago and won his second feature in a row Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway. Cham Savage from Copperas Cove finished second but lost his engine to a claim. Brandon Dulock from Lorena took third.

 

William Gould from Durant, Oklahoma, covered the IMCA modified field to score the feature win over Johnny Sheets from Gatesville and Cody Williamson from Waco.

 

Sid Kiphen from Gatesville ran a solid race to register his ninth SIMS/ULMA limited modified feature win. T.J. Green from Robinson was second and Roy Ewing from Moody, third.

 

Paul Bolfing from Waco looked strong taking the street stock feature. He was followed by Mark Geurin from Whitney and Doug Andrews from Waco.

 

Timmy Kemp's hot streak continued with another pure stock feature win over a hard charging Scott Tacker from West. Nic Priem from Lexington finished third.

 

Russell Brackeen from West won his second career cruiser feature followed by Linda Wills from Axtell and Chad Barber from Waco.

 

Junior mini stock top honors went to Nathan Sodek from Temple. Kevin Green from Robinson and Brandon Goodnight from Mart finished second and third.

 

Next Friday's program will be highlighted by a Celebrity/DJ Race between several local and visiting on air personalities and journalists. Gates open at 6:00 P.M. and racing begins at 8:00 P.M. Check our website for more information at www.heartotexspeedway.com
