abrungot Posted March 6, 2012 Report Share Posted March 6, 2012 - There is a Drop Race (And was said in drivers meeting you can drop a TI) - New Points system 2 points for Ever car/truck starting the feature, 5 point bonus for win, 5 point bonus for Hard Charger Nut shell.. there is going to be some CLOSE points racing this year.. gen11 Posted March 7, 2012 Report Share Posted March 7, 2012 I like it. Keep it simple and reward teams that do well when car count is up. Before, it did not seem to matter if you won a 2 car race or a 20 car race. The points were the same. Whole different strategy now, which should include front runners trying to get as many cars to race as possible. Good move in my opinion. Is the drop for local classes only? debwill Posted March 7, 2012 Report Share Posted March 7, 2012 You're correct, Robert s. We simply take your starting position and subtract your finishing position. In the case of a tie, both drivers will get the Hard Charger points. Also, a driver may choose to start at the rear and still be eligible for the Hard Charger bonus (does not qualify for the bonus if starting at the rear due to a penalty).
