Elmo
what bushings do i need to put ford lower on a lmpala frame. I'm pretty sure when I did it I managed to put chevy bushings in. It was several years ago, I don't recommend it your uppers will also need to be much longer and your springs won't fit right. I would recommend setting up the Chevy lowers, you will be way ahead in the game.
fastman
ford lowers will widen your track width by .75 inch on each side. You will probly only need a longer LF upper a arm to get angles right. Your spring location will change slightly but so long as both front lower a arms a changed the spring rate may have to be increased a bit. Try increasing spring rate by 50-75 pounds or test with the springs you have now. No special bushings are needed but nylon bushings are recomended Edited December 16, 2012 by fastman
