PAPA
Asphalt and dirt both have the same type classes. So why dont the trucks race dirt? Not trying to stir anything up here. Just wondering why. From a fans point of view I think it would be cool to watch the trucks on dirt.

PAPA
they have a dirt truck class at TRP! Thats cool to know Floyd but why dont they have the trucks at the other tracks. The trucks are still one of the more affordable classes. It seems to me that that would work real well for the dirt tracks. They put on a good show on asphalt so I'm sure they would put on a good show for dirt as well.

Jeremy and I batted the idea around of talking to Eric about putting a steel body on one and running... They should be able to run with the Streets... BAB75
I have a buddy with a truck he has ran with LLM. He can run in the top 5 about every night he brings it out. Hell he's even won one.
JamesHigdon
I think the trucks running with the street stocks would be pretty close...the class already runs aftermarket bodies so not much difference. I agree 100% that the track has the perfect number of classes and besides wishing the limited late model where late models I don't think anything needs changing. dancer52
we talking about the arts trucks? I love the class idea...but...i thought they were like 2500# and had a decent amount of engine setback.........
KISS_Racing
I think Papa is saying like a one off two off type thing? I think I remember Rusty talking to several of the trucks about an endof the year deal or something. Only like two other takers if I recall... I totally agree... Leave class the way they are, yet agree with Papa that it would be fun to watch an all trucks race togther on dirt as well...
JamesHigdon
Not to be horsy about the details AJ but your "street stock" three wheels. I would like to see the trucks run but either as a special event or slotted into another class. How many trucks run when they show up for Asphalt touring events? JamesHigdon
Believe #'s are up. I think 15 - 18? Well with 15-18 if half that showed up for the occasional stand alone dirt race it would be a seriously entertaining show!

31Racing
Taking it way back here! I remember him being pretty darn fast. Wow, I remember he raced in the purestock heat, then chose to run the streetstock feature, then worked through the field for that win! There is a video of this night somewhere!
