HiTech Posted July 14, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 14, 2011 pends on the engine and application that your gonna use them for yep .289 ...for a 66 mustang ....so they have to fit where we wont have to fight so hard to get headers ........... looking at no more than 194 .160 valves . 60 cc . probably 170 runners. or just a step up ...probably going around 500 lift area ....dual plain.........probably 2500 stall ... the block has 302 pistons with valve reliefs .. but dont need bigger valves ...650 to 750 carb ..... 4cylfordz Posted July 14, 2011 Report Share Posted July 14, 2011 check out e-force heads, your favorite machine shop can get them form epwi. made by edelbrock, good quality of head for price good looking runners with cnc work done to them and If I remember right all the bolts ( at least the studs, exhaust and brackets) come pre heli-coiled. best bang for the buck IMO.
