NickHolt
Chrome numbers are hard to see at night, especially against a black background. With transponders this isn't a problem for scoring any longer. Just a problem for us folks trying to do live updates from the track. Â White on black is easy to see both during the day and at night. Yellow on blue is almost as easy, while any dark color on white is easy to read. Â Nick

speed demon 7
As a photographer, I will tell you it does not look good at night. If you use a 1" white, yellow, or neon outline, it will help out, but when we take pictures of the cars, it looks black, or white, depending on how the flash hits it. lilmodified
there is a black sportmod that i've seen in killeen that is trimmed in chrome and diamond plate...VERY sharp car! i've never had a problem seeing it at night, and it photographs nicely...i'll find some pics of it and post them later. i believe it's the #8, but i could be wrong about the car number...
