Chrome numbers are hard to see at night, especially against a black background. With transponders this isn't a problem for scoring any longer. Just a problem for us folks trying to do live updates from the track.

 

White on black is easy to see both during the day and at night. Yellow on blue is almost as easy, while any dark color on white is easy to read.

GUNNER, YOU CAN PULL UP SOME OF MY PRO STOCK PICTURES, THE CAR IS BLACK WITH A NUMBER 1 ( PURPLE AND YELLOW OUTLINE COVERED BY A GOLD MYLAR ), IT SHOWS UP VERY WELL. IF YOU DONT FIND THE PIC., I WILL SEND ONE TO YOU, THANKS, DEL ;)

there is a black sportmod that i've seen in killeen that is trimmed in chrome and diamond plate...VERY sharp car! i've never had a problem seeing it at night, and it photographs nicely...i'll find some pics of it and post them later. i believe it's the #8, but i could be wrong about the car number...
