Dot Posted June 23, 2011 Report Share Posted June 23, 2011 Richard has received his transplant back on June 12. Well this week he has been fighting a fever that keeps hinging around. The highest so for was 103.3. All labs and such have came back clean. So they don't know where/what is causing the fever. Room number is 207. Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital (Medical Center) The transplant went great and both organs are doing their jobs very nicely. Dot Posted June 26, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 26, 2011 More test have been ordered, iv restarted. They need to find out why the kidney number is increasing. There is several things it could be. But the biggest one is an Acute Rejection, this is not uncommon. More info will be posted as we get news and info to pass along. Dot Posted June 28, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 28, 2011 Rich update: They are going to take him back to the OR and find the the blockage and fix the problem. Please pray all goes as plan and this fix it. We don't know if we come back to same room or not but the hospital will know where to find us.
