AUSTIN, Texas February 17, 2011 Formula 1 United States has hired two Austin-based agencies to complete its advertising and public relations team. Exopolis, known nationally for its ability to bring technology, strategy and creativity together in a fresh, forward-thinking way will serve as the advertising agency of record. The companys focus will be on developing the creative design, brand identity and marketing and advertising collateral for the United States Grand Prix and its venue located in Austin, Texas.

Hahn, Texas, a 36-year old communications firm with offices in Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi joins the team to provide media relations, social media and special event support. The firm has strong ties to the Texas media market and has supported the Austin Marathon, the citys only national-level sporting event, for its entire 20-year history. In 2008, it created a unique collaboration with the consulting firm Cultural Strategies to extend its reach into the fast-growing Latino market.

These firms impressed us with their creative energy and outreach capabilities, said Sandy West, Vice President of Corporate Affairs. We are creating a world-class business and entertainment destination, so we selected agencies willing to bring their full commitment and a collaborative spirit to that vision. I am pleased to say that after just a few days, the two are already working as a team and firing together on all cylinders.
