CBS7 has just signed up as the official title sponsor of the Junior Dragster series in 2011. Jr. Dragsters are the entry-level proving ground into the high-powered sport of professional drag racing. Young boys and girls strap into Jr. Dragsters every season, at tracks across America, with hopes of eventually moving into faster divisions. Safety, seat-time, teamwork, and sportsmanship are the cornerstone principles of Jr. Drag-racing and CBS7 is pleased to contribute to its continued success. CBS7 has also become the official free parking provider @ DTR. As everyone knows, these are trying economic times, and race tracks across America are struggling to keep the doors open. Paid parking has become common-place at many facilities because it provides much needed revenue. As a result, the DTR owners had reluctantly discussed instituting a paid-parking fee in 2011. However CBS7 offered to keep parking free at DTR by sponsoring all general parking. So general parking will remain free thanks to our generous friends at CBS7.
