LEGACY Posted June 9, 2004 Report Share Posted June 9, 2004 Nick, Don't know if it used up there but the Texas Highway Department uses it as a noise reducer along highway where there are sub divisions annd also as deviders. It's called Pampas, or pompas grass,it is fast growing and you don't have to replace it yearly. It gets 10 to 15 ft tall and about 10 ft in dia.
