Both IMCA SportMod divisions battle

Oct. 2-3 at Dodge City Raceway Park

 

DODGE CITY, Kan. (Sept. 28) – IMCA’s Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Southwest Racing Specialties Southern SportMods go head to head for the first time this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 2-3 at Dodge City Raceway Park.

 

The Boothill SportMod Showdown sports a 25 lap, $1,000 to win feature on Saturday and a 40 lap, $3,000 to win feature on Sunday.

 

Gates open at 4 p.m and Friday’s practice runs from 6-8 p.m. A barbeque for pre-entered race teams follows.

 

On Saturday, gates open at 3 p.m., hot laps are at 5 p.m., timed qualifying is at 6 p.m. and heat races start at 7:30 p.m.

 

Gates open at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Hot laps are at noon and features are at approximately 2 p.m.
