O'Reilly NCRA Late Models at Thunder Hill‏(Kansas)

Tulsa, Oklahoma (August 18, 2010) – The O’Reilly NCRA Late Model Series is back in action this weekend and four-time champion Kelly Boen is looking to break the record for most wins in a season when the series returns to Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, Kansas on Saturday.

 

Boen currently has eleven wins on the season which ties the record he set in 2009. A win Saturday would give Boen, who won at Thunder Hill on July 24, a record twelfth win and his sixth straight. Boen currently leads the points chase with 4,755 points. Corey Zeitner is second at 4,395 and rookie Jase Kaser sits in third with 4,160. Rounding out the top five is former champion Al Purkey with 3,540 and Wylan Petrie in fifth with 3,335.

 

 

 

Pit gates and grandstands will open at 5:00 PM with hot laps scheduled for 6:30 PM and racing at 7:30 PM. Thunder Hill Speedway is located is located 14.6 miles north of US 24 on US 75 to 142nd St., then 2.2 miles west.
