HiTech
reminded me of the old days .when after the last feature was over . the last cars would stay out on the track . frank would let us go talk to the drivers ...... i remember going out to touch the tires of dub rollins the flanigans cars ..just to feel the sticky .... 40 years later and i can still smell the burnt rubber on home made steel wheels and how hot and sticky they were ... and see the steam coming from those radiators ...steel ones at that ..the strong smell of leaded gas ....... .... you break a ball joint..... DRIVER'S WIFE
It was an awesome crowd and an awesome night of racing. The kids were all so excited about the whole night. What a success it was! Thanks for all of the drivers for showing your support and thanks to everyone who went out and intended to go out for intermission! Thanks to the Monroes for setting up the special deal for the Scouts. Nothing could have been better!
