FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Park City, Kansas - August 1, 2010 - After a month delay it is back to action for the O'Reilly/NCRA modified north division as they look to finish up the rain plagued 54th annual Hutchinson Grand Nationals, atop the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas this coming Saturday night. Former 2008 series champion Marc Hurd, who was declared the winner in the earlier Friday night event that was complete before inclement weather for Saturday nights finale forced the Nationals to be ppd. will start on the pole for the Hutch Nationals feature finale. Current series points leader Brian Powers, Greg Stephens, Ryan McAninch and defending series champion Dan Daniels will start on the first five inside rows for the feature finale. Complete heat races and last chance qualifiers will be run to fill out the remaining twenty positions for the Hutch Grand Nationals finale. Powers comes in with a slim ten point lead over Ryan McAninch with Hurd just forty points out of the lead sitting in the third position. Pit gates will open at 4:00 PM on championship Saturday with heat races scheduled to start at 7:30 PM.
