We need time to get our backup motor finished and installed after ours let go last night. Shawn, yours worked so well before, could you help out also? I don't want to tangle with that mean beast again. Honestly, in a perfect world, we'll get the backup motor from the machine shop on Friday and have the car running by Saturday morning. Truck99 Posted May 22, 2004 Author Report Share Posted May 22, 2004 It's 11:25 here, and the 99 beast came alive again about 30 minutes ago. We owe huge thanks to our engine builder - Craig Pullin of San Marcos Auto Machine. On Monday, our backup motor was in parts in his shop and needed to be machined. He made our stuff priority one as soon as I called him on Monday. We got the short block back last night, and we finished it up tonight and put it in the car. See you guys tomorrow.
