White Wins at HOT

 

ELM MOTT-Keith White from Academy took top honors in the IMCA modified feature Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway. Ronnie Warren from Oglesby ran second and David Hanusch from Belton was third.

 

Veteran driver Carroll Edmonds returned to racing last week and raced his way to Victory Lane this week in the SIMS/ULMA limited modified feature. Chris Cogburn from Robinson took second with Roy Ewing from Moody in third.

 

Chad Estes from Troy picked up the I-stock feature win. Brandon Dulock from Lorena and Shannon Parsons from Chilton followed in second and third.

 

David Khoury held off fellow Wacoan Doug Andrews for the win in the street stock feature. Tommy Kirkpatrick from Elm Mott was third.

 

Young Chris Wills from Waco won a family feud with Linda Wills from Axtell for the Cruiser feature win. Corey Homan from Oglesby took third.

 

Kevin Green from Robinson continued his winning ways in the junior mini stock feature. Brandon Goodnight from Mart ran second and Nathan Sodek from Temple, third.

 

Timmy Kemp from Waco won this week's pure stock feature while Logan Saulters from Bellmead claimed the feature win for last week's make-up race. Melvin Kemp, Jr., Riesel placed second in both events.

 

Next Friday, street stocks will run a make up the feature for the one rained out on April 30. IMCA modifieds, I-stocks, SIMS/ULMA limited modifieds, street stocks, pure/hobby stock, cruisers, and junior mini stocks will also be competing. Gates open at 6:00 P.M. and racing begins at 8:00 P.M.
