Run For The Money rescheduled again

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (June 15) – To no surprise, Lincoln County Raceway’s Run For The Money special has been rescheduled a second time.

Rain, mud and standing water are again the culprits in postponing the event from tonight to Tuesday, July 13. IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods were originally scheduled to run June 8 at North Platte.

As was the case following the first postponement, no change has been made in times for the show. Pit gates open at 4 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m.

NebraskaLand National Bank is sponsor of the event, adding $1,000 to the Modified, Stock and Hobby winners’ shares. Modifieds race for $900 to win, Stock Cars for $550 and both the Hobby Stocks and Northern SportMods $325.

All applicable IMCA points will be awarded.

Grandstand admission is $12 for adults and $6 for kids, with five and under admitted free. Pit passes are $20. Entry fee for drivers who have not competed previously at Lincoln County this season is $45.

More information about the event is available from Milne at 308 530-1578 or by emailing ej06@qwestoffice.net.
